What I'm doing now

What is a now page?
As of right now the first 6 in the first series are available. There's 3 more planned and I'm working my way through them. I created these after searching for years - I couldn't find children's story books that teach the kinds of emotional lessons that a Dad that's there with them every day can. Dadsnet published an article I wrote about them too.
My Mum always had a certain way of looking at our problems and making things clearer. I've known for a long time I'd been doing the same for others, so I formalised it. But that wasn't enough so I miniaturised it into a free little web app that takes about 10 minutes to run through and makes things just a little clearer there and then.
If you're not familiar with the podcast, it all started with parents and carers claiming non-speaking Autistic children were reading their minds. It's developed into quite a show and really seems to polarise between the people that want it to be true, and the people that flat out refuse to believe it's anything but a scam. I'm firmly in the wanting it to be true cohort, though I'm skeptical with an open mind. It's had me thinking about the HeartMath institute's work and how so many of us know who's about to call us before our phone starts ringing.
A couple of weeks ago my laptop died, the screwdrivers came out, things were inspected, the CMOS battery swapped. Nothing. As Monty Python might say 'it was pining for the fjords'. I had one final push though some days later and somehow she's up and running again, for how long, nobody knows.
